Enjoy a beautiful drive South of Anchorage on the Seward Highway, a National Scenic Byway. Watch for wildlife and stop for breathtaking photos en route to the towns of Portage and Girdwood. Photograph and learn more about Alaska wildlife at the Big Game Alaska Wildlife Center in Portage. Continue to the Begich Boggs Visitors Center in Portage to watch the acclaimed video “Voices from the Ice.” Stop for lunch in Girdwood at the luxurious Alyeska Resort. Mt. McKinley Flightseeing Tour

This spectacular flightseeing tour departs Anchorage and takes you within six miles of McKinley's 20,320 ft. summit. View the Ruth Glacier, the Great Gorge and the massive south face of Mt. McKinley. Passenger minimum may apply.

Mat-Su Valley Experience
Travel north of Anchorage to experience the beautiful Mat-Su Valley. Begin your day with a visit to the Musk Ox Farm in Palmer to learn more about these unique prehistoric animals. Travel to Wasilla for a non-hosted lunch at the Best Western Lake Lucille. Complete your experience with a visit to the Iditarod Headquarters where you can watch a movie, look at Iditarod memorabilia, and learn more about Alaska’s official sport – dog sledding. Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise
Kenai Fjords National Park and Resurrection Bay are abundant in marine wildlife and ice-blue tidewater glaciers. See harbor seals, otters, sea lions, and various species of whale. There are over 100 species of birds flourishing in the area, from the majestic Bald eagle to the beloved puffin, and a spectacular Steller sea lion colony.
