Day 1 • Depart Vancouver
A spirited city, Vancouver is rich in culture and cuisine and laced with rivers and inlets. Enjoy this scenic city and then embark for your Glacier Discovery Cruise.
Day 2 • Inside Passage Cruising
Cruise through the magnificent Inside Passage. Enjoy the wonders that abound, including majestic fjords, bald eagles, and humpback whales.
Day 3 • Ketchikan
Cruise the enchanted waterway to “Alaska’s First City.” On your way to Ketchikan you will pass thick forests and rugged islands and inlets and see snow-capped mountains and deep fjords penetrating the wilderness.
Day 4 • Juneau
Juneau, Alaska’s capital city, welcomes you to her midst. See the history of the gold rush come alive, walk the picturesque streets, and browse the shops along flower-lined sidewalks. You may choose to book a shore excursion or explore Alaska’s second largest city on your own. Depart late this evening for Skagway.
Day 5 • Skagway
In 1897, thousands of prospectors sailed the Inside Passage to Skagway. Today is your opportunity to explore Alaska’s Gold Rush history. Perhaps take a train ride on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway, which helped miners achieve an easier route north and helped maintain the town’s population following the gold rush. Depart this evening for Glacier Bay National Park.
Day 6 • Cruise Glacier Bay National Park
Spend a magical day cruising through the waters of Glacier Bay National Park, part of the largest internationally protected area in the world. Watch as these massive glaciers “calve” icebergs into the sea.
Day 7 • Cruise College Fjord
Today enjoy cruising College Fjord in Prince William Sound. This scenic fjord is comprised of numerous glaciers that are named for Ivy League schools. Be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife.
Day 8 • Seward
Arrive in Seward this morning and transfer to Anchorage. The rest of the day is yours to explore Alaska’s largest city as you please. Overnight in Anchorage.
Day 9 • Anchorage
Choose from one of our many day tours out of Anchorage or do some last-minute shopping before your return home. Overnight in Anchorage.
