Anchorage Day Tour

Come face to face with Alaska’s first inhabitants at the Alaska Native Heritage Center. The Center brings together many of Alaska’s distinct Native cultures: Athabascans from the Interior, Yup’ik and Cup’ik from the West, Inupiaq and St. Lawrence Island Yupik of the North, Aleuts and Alutiiqs of the North Pacific, and Eyak, Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian from Southeast. The Center features authentic village settings and cultural galleries for each Alaska Native group, live demonstrations and performances, multi-media interpretive exhibits, interactive displays, film and video presentations, and an authentic Alaska Native gift shop.
