Yukon Territory/Whitehorse/Dawson City/Haines Junction

Whitehorse is the capital of Canada’s Yukon Territory and home to some of the most spectacular scenery in Canada.

Home to the historic gold fields of the north, Whitehorse takes its name from the waves of the Yukon River rapids, thought to resemble the manes of white horses. Surrounded by mountains and clear mountain lakes, Whitehorse provides year-round activities for visitors.

Dawson City is a cultural and historic oasis tucked away in the middle of the Yukon wilderness.

Once referred to as the “Paris of the North”, its name is synonymous with the 1898 Klondike Gold Rush.  In summer, Dawson is a carnival by day and a circus by night, brimming with art, music, literary, and natural history festivals. Diamond Tooth Gerties, Jack London & Dawson City Museums, Robert Service Cabin and Danoja Zho Cultural Center compliment our access to the Yukon and Klondike rivers, the Klondike Goldfields and the Tombstone Territorial Park. (Source: Klondike Visitors Association)
