Day 1: Anchorage / Knik River Lodge
Travel to the very end of the Knik River Road, an extension of the Old Glenn Highway. This area is a well kept secret: even most Alaskans don’t know the existence of this road, extending 11 miles into the mountains. Your stay at Knik River Lodge is remote enough to be considered true wilderness, yet just one hour from Anchorage. Perfectly situated for exploring. You'll stay in a private cabin overlooking the Knik River Valley with dinner included this evening.
Day 2: Knik River Lodge
After your included breakfast, embark on an exciting Helicopter Glacier Dog Sled Tour today. When you return from your glacier dog-sledding adventure the lodge chef will have a delicious lunch prepared for you. All food is made from scratch using mostly organic, local ingredients. Day 3: Knik River Lodge / Anchorage
After breakfast this morning, a transfer is included back to Anchorage where your tour ends.
