| About Your Stay |
Kantishna is not part of the traditional Denali bus tour of the park. The 95 mile Denali Road is restricted to by permit only access, except the first 15 miles. Kantishna guests are among those limited number of individuals that are granted permit access to the area. Many Denali enthusiasts consider this to be among the most desirable areas of the Park to visit.
Kantishna Roadhouse features an abundance of fantastic opportunities for you to explore the wonders of Denali's wilderness. Adventure stretches clear to the horizons. Each day activities are offered that can be educational as well as fun. A daily activities schedule will be posted in the lobby every morning. Activities can include hiking, fishing, gold panning, and mountain biking. If you want to plan your own excursion, ask a guide for maps and assistance.
