About Your Stay

Take one of the grandest drives on earth, winding through the Alaska Range, and enjoying opportunities to see Denali's famed wildlife: Grizzlies, Caribou, Moose, Dall Sheep, Wolves, and Eagles. And, should the weather smile on you, above all of it towers Mt. McKinley (Denali) itself, the highest point in North America (20,320 feet). At the very end of the Denali Park road, past Wonder Lake, you'll find a unique enclave in the park known as Kantishna. This area is home to Denali Backcountry Lodge.

Your cedar cabin is heated and features a private bath - an unexpected luxury for such a remote location. Dining and lounge areas are found in the spacious two-story lodge. During your stay enjoy natural history presentations by lodge staff and featured guest speakers, relax in one of the outdoor gazebos near Moose Creek, enjoy a guided hike or walk, try gold panning, go mountain biking, capture on film the scenic views, or take an optional flightseeing tour.

Package Includes:

Private bus transfer from Park entrance to Denali Backcountry Lodge, Park entrance fees, lodging, meals, guided activities (except flightseeing) and naturalist programs.

Not Included: Gratuities, fishing licenses, alcoholic beverages
