Day 1 • Anchorage
Arrive in Anchorage today where an Explore Tours representative will meet and review your travel documents with you. Take a walk through downtown Anchorage and explore our lovely city on your own. Overnight in Anchorage.

Day 2 • Anchorage
This morning enjoy an informative city tour. This wonderful tour of Alaska’s largest city will take you to Lake Hood, the largest float plane airport in the world and other Anchorage landmarks. The rest of the day is free for other sightseeing or shopping on your own. Overnight in Anchorage.

Day 3 • Anchorage/Seward
Depart Anchorage by rail this morning and enjoy an incredible trip along the Seward Highway. Spend the afternoon cruising along Resurrection Bay through Kenai Fjords National Park. Enjoy lunch on board while you watch for wildlife and listen to the narration provided by the captain. Overnight in Seward.

Day 4 • Seward/Anchorage
Take a sled dog ride through the woods near the Iditarod Racing Kennel, operated by the Seavey family (Mitch Seavey was the winner of the 2004 Iditarod Sled Dog Race). Travel down one of the most scenic Alaska roadways to Exit Glacier for an up-close view and learn more about the history of Seward. Enjoy the afternoon train ride back to Anchorage as you relish the incredible scenery along the way. Overnight in Anchorage.

Day 5 • Anchorage
Today you may choose one of our optional day tours or just enjoy the day at your leisure. Overnight in Anchorage.

Day 6 • Anchorage
End of tour.
