Day 1 • Anchorage/Bear Camp
This morning, you will be met in Anchorage and will take a scenic drive to the Kenai Peninsula. After an orientation with your safari guide, take your bush plane flight to Bear Camp. Outside Magazine called this “the best remote camp in North America.” Spend the remainder of your day viewing bears. Overnight in comfortable “weather port” tent cabins with twin beds and propane heat.

Day 2 • Great Alaska Adventure Lodge
Rise to the sound of waves lapping at the wilderness shoreline, and then enjoy a hearty outdoor breakfast and more time watching for brown bears. Settle into your riverside cabin (with fireplace and private bath) following an afternoon flight to the main lodge. Overnight at the main lodge on the Kenai River.

Day 3 • Great Alaska Adventure Lodge
Travel to a nearby lake for a float through the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. Enjoy the scenery rolling by as you look out for eagles, loons, moose, and waterfowl that call this sanctuary home. Return to the main lodge for your overnight.

Day 4 • Kenai Fjords National Park
Travel to Seward this morning. On the way, stop and hike to the base of a retreating glacier. Then venture into Kenai Fjords National Park for a day of glacier and wildlife cruising. Whales, otters, and puffins are but a few of the residents you might see in this amazing region. Huge glaciers and green mountains drop straight into the sea in an area you won’t soon forget. Overnight at the main lodge.

Day 5 • Homer/Great Alaska Adventure Lodge
Tour Homer today, one of the most beautiful interesting towns in Alaska. See early Russian churches and active volcanoes en route to the “end of the road”. Explore the art and uniqueness of the famous boardwalk at "Land's End". Return to the main lodge for dinner and your overnight.

Day 6 • Denali/Great Alaska Adventure Lodge
After a leisurely breakfast, flightsee (weather permitting) Alaska’s most famous region – Denali. Towering cliff walls, panoramic vistas, and North America’s largest mountain will greet you without the crowds. 2 ½ hours on the plane plus a “leg stretch” landing in Talkeetna, a truly unique spot and the jumping off point for climbing excursions on Mt. McKinley. Overnight at the main lodge.

Day 7 • Great Alaska Adventure Lodge
On your final day, enjoy a moderate hike to a raised platform above a waterfall to view salmon leaping towards their spawning grounds. Following your return to the main lodge, you will depart for your plane to Anchorage (this transfer is not included in the package price).
