This trip combines the most popular activities on the Kenai Peninsula. Your base is the Kenai Riverside Lodge on the banks of the scenic Upper Kenai River. The basic 3-Day / 2-Night package includes a Kenai Fjords cruise, a raft trip, a ride on the Alaska Railroad, and round trip transportation from Anchorage. If you can’t visit Alaska without fishing, you can add a one-day salmon or trout trip to this Adventure Package for an additional cost.

Day 1
• Anchorage/Kenai Riverside Lodge
Pick-up at downtown Anchorage hotel or Anchorage Airport by 3:00 PM. Scenic 2-hour drive to Cooper Landing. Dinner and overnight at Kenai Riverside Lodge, your base for the trip. Relax on the deck or step into the wood-fired sauna.
Day 2 (or 3 or 4 for longer packages) • Kenai Riverside Lodge
Your choice of: a 2-hour scenic float or full day of rafting down the Kenai Canyon and through the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge; guided hiking on the trails of the Chugach National Forest; or fishing the world famous Kenai River for huge Salmon or trophy Rainbow Trout (additional cost).
Last Day
• Seward/Anchorage
Embark on a full-day Kenai Fjords National Park cruise, looking for whales, sea lions, puffins, and other wildlife while photographing tidewater glaciers. Ride the Alaska Railroad from Seward to Anchorage. Dinner on own, and arrive at Anchorage depot approximately 10:25 PM.
If extending to a 4 or 5 day package, Days 3 and 4 are as follows:

For those wanting a four or five day adventure, just add another day of rafting or hiking to the middle of your stay. Kenai Exploration packages allow for one day of fishing at additional cost. (Note: The last day of all 3-Day, 4-Day, and 5-Day Kenai Exploration packages will always be a Kenai Fjords cruise and train ride to Anchorage.)
