Fishing:
All KRSL programs feature the expert services of friendly and knowledgeable guides. Guests fish from Willie Predator powerboats and drift boats designed to fit up to four anglers comfortably. All top-quality spin and fly-fishing gear is provided.
Guests enjoy three distinct fishing seasons for salmon: the king salmon run strong during May, June and July; the red salmon run in June and July; and the silver salmon run strongest during August and September. Rainbow trout and Dolly Varden fishing opens in mid-June with peak action in August and September during spawning.
A halibut charter is included with the six- and seven-day packages. Optional (add-on) halibut trips can be arranged for those choosing three, four or five-day packages. Group trips can also be arranged.
Accommodations:
Stay in one of eight rustic log cabins nestled in the trees surrounding a main lodge with a natural riverside setting. Modern day creature comforts are included -- heat, electric lights, private bath and comfy beds for your pleasure!
Hearty Meals:
Wake up to a hot breakfast buffet before heading out on the water. Your guide brings your made-to-order lunch on the boat. In the evening you'll come home to a delicious family-style meal at the lodge.

Round trip transportation from Anchorage to Kenai River Sportfishing Lodge, all meals and snacks, top quality gear (tackle, rain jackets, rain pants, hip waders and personal flotation devices), up to 8 hours of guided fishing per day, fish processing, and vacuum packing. Not included: Fishing license, Borough tax, beer, wine, soda, and gratuities to staff.
