Day 1 Whitehorse, Yukon
Welcome to Whitehorse! As the capital city of Canada’s Yukon, Whitehorse offers the comforts of a larger city while maintaining a small town feel. Overnight in Whitehorse.
Day 2 Whitehorse/Skagway, Alaska
This morning transfer by bus to Skagway. Upon arrival, choose from a variety of optional activities: glacier flightseeing, city tour, salmon bake, or a culinary/garden tour. Or simply stroll the streets and visit the Klondike Gold Rush National Park Visitor Center and Museum. Overnight in Skagway.
Day 3 Skagway
Today you'll enjoy an exciting flightseeing & bear viewing adventure! Return to Skagway by air this evening.
Day 4 Skagway/Whitehorse
Experience the rush of the Klondike with a combination train and motorcoach trip between Skagway, Alaska and Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Considered the engineering marvel of its time, the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad was built in 1898 over some of the most rugged terrain in the North. Overnight in Whitehorse.
Day 5 Whitehorse/Mayo
Pick up your rental car in Whitehorse (not included) and begin your drive northwest on the Klondike Highway and Highway 11 to the village of Mayo. You may opt to visit the Binet House Interpretive Centre or one of the area’s natural attractions. Overnight in Mayo.
Day 6 Mayo/Dawson City
Experience Dawson City, an unforgettable community that has preserved its Gold Rush past. Whether you try panning for gold in the Klondike Gold fields or taking a more modern approach gambling at Diamond Tooth Gertie’s Casino, we hope that your visit to Dawson will be a profitable one! Overnight in Dawson City.
Day 7 Dawson City
Today is free to experience on of Dawson City’s many attractions. You may want to visit Jack London’s cabin or the local museum for greater insight into the local history. Overnight in Dawson City.
Day 8 Dawson City, YT/Tok, Alaska
Say goodbye to Dawson City and travel the Top of the World and Taylor Highways into Alaska. See the mighty Yukon River en route, one of the longest in North America at 2200 miles (3520 km). Overnight in Tok.
Day 9 Tok/Whitehorse
Get an early start on your day as you travel the Alaska Highway south towards Whitehorse. Be sure to save some time to enjoy Kluane Lake and the natural wonders of Kluane National Park en route. Overnight in Whitehorse.
