Travese the Denali National Park's for a chance to explore Kantishna
Most visitors to Alaska long to explore the beauty and wilderness of Denali National Park.
While many visit the entrance to Denali National Park, only a small percentage travel deep into the heart of Denali to fully experience the majesty of the Park. The Heart of Denali is the Park adventure you dream about! Combine with a cruise, other tour options, or make this your Alaskan journey!

As you depart Anchorage you’ll pass through Wasilla, home of the Iditarod Sled Dog Race, Alaska’s ‘almost’ state capital, Willow and through the rural community of Talkeetna. This rail leg also offers many potential vistas of North America’s tallest peak, Denali as well as a very evident transition into the interior climate zone. Upon your arrival into Denali National Park you’ll settle into a comfortable stay just on the entrance of the Park. From here you will be able to access the Park Visitor Center for an introduction into one of the nation’s most unique wilderness preserves and parks.
Day 3 - Denali National Park
Today you’ll want to fuel up for a journey into the Heart of Denali National Park & Preserve. After a leisurely morning you will board the Denali Backcountry Lodge bus to traverse the entire length of the 92-mile restricted-access Park Road and bask in the ample opportunity for wildlife viewing and sightseeing Denali's most iconic landmarks. At the end of this park road you will check into the exclusive Denali Backcountry Lodge. Overnight in the backcountry of this spectacular national park where you’ll find your accommodations to offer surprising comfort, include all meals and most activities during your stay.
Day 4 - Denali National Park
Capture the beauty of this special place through a variety of included activities and services such as naturalist-led programs, guided hikes and walks, gold panning, mountain biking or even optional flight seeing (flight-seeing is at an additional cost). Spend a second night in the backcountry of Denali National Park.
Day 5 - Denali National Park to Anchorage
This morning you’ll depart the Backcountry Lodge via a more local form of travel, flight. Be the first humans to fly over the quiet park this morning.
