A part of Alaska's "Adventure Corridor," Valdez is situated on a deepwater fjord in Prince William Sound. The Chugach Eskimo and Ahtna Ahthabascan people were the first to use the area for fishing and trading and still today, travelers come from around the world to experience its unmatched scenic beauty and outdoor activities by land and sea!
