This exciting camping and sea kayaking trip spends two full days and nights at Alaska's most famous humpback whale feeding area. Days are spent kayaking and watching for humpback whales, orca, sea lions, eagles, and sea birds, hiking the beaches, or exploring the old-growth rainforest of Chichagof Island. At night, fall asleep under the canopy of the Tongass National Forest listening to the blows of whales frolicking offshore. This is a great trip for families with teenagers or anyone who wants to combine a genuine wilderness adventure with other explorations of Alaska. Begins and ends in Gustavus.
