This remote Brown Bear viewing camp is located on the shores of Cook Inlet. With towering mountains behind and shimmering waters ahead, this location is truly spectacular and is only accessible by boat or plane. In early spring, sows and their cubs leave their dens to feed on succulents around the camp, allowing for ample opportunities to view and photograph these magnificent animals. Like the salmon they feed upon, bears are transitory: May, June and July are the best times to see them.
