Arrive in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city. Pick up your rental car (additional) and drive south along a National Scenic Byway to the community of Girdwood and the prestigious Alyeska Resort. Check in to The Hotel Alyeska for your luxurious overnight accommodations.

Today head further south to Seward for a whale watching cruise in Resurrection Bay. Witness the annual migration of 20,000 gray whales as they travel from Baja California north to the Bering Sea. Return to Girdwood for the kickoff celebration of Alyeska’s Spring Carnival and your overnight.

Today you have another opportunity to visit the slopes! See why Alyeska is voted one of the top 25 ski resorts in North America. After a day on the mountain, you may want to take in the après ski festivities or soak in the Hotel’s hot tub. Overnight at The Hotel Alyeska.
Day 5 · Sunday, April 22, 2007
The morning is free for more skiing or optional activities such as flightseeing. This afternoon you won’t want to miss the Slush Cup competition! As a participant or a spectator, this event is the highlight of the Spring Carnival. Your spring adventure comes to an end with your return to Anchorage this evening. Better yet, opt to extend your stay with more Alaska sightseeing!
